APBA Gold Cup - July 9 - 11

The Gold Cup race is this weekend, July 9th through the 11th!

Many MPR members are involved in the presentation of the event including drivers. Others work as turn judges, launch crew, manage pit operations, provide public relations support, and much much more.

We encourage you to attend this long-time Detroit tradition of racing for the oldest trophy in all of motor sports, the APBA Gold Cup.

Walled Lake race - June 12 & 13

This weekend, June 12 & 13, the limited inboard hydroplanes return for a race on Walled Lake to kick off the local racing season!

The action will run roughly from 11am - 5pm each day. Free admission to the beach area, pit access about $10.

Dayton Testing / Driving School

Driving School: May 21-23 2010 (May 21 is safety cell testing in the evening)

Welcome to our new web site!

Welcome to our new web site!

Over 100 hours of effort went into building this site. The biggest change is behind the scenes, as a Content Management System (CMS) was implemented to make it easier to maintain and grow the site and hopefully last for a good number of years.

TO OUR TEAMS: Please contact us for submission information for our teams page ASAP!!

We are looking for some club members that would like to help work on the site through the CMS. We need some people to work on the Teams pages as well as a History page.

We are also looking for help by a graphic artist type, to help improve the looks of the page. Yours truly is more a techie than an artist, and I think it came out OK but I'd like it to be better.
