CELINA GOVERNORS CUP REGATTA CANCELLED

It is with deep regret and frustration that Myron Buxton and Allen Baskett, Co-Chairs of the Celina Governors Cup Regatta Committee announced today that the 2010 Race has been cancelled.

“The continued deterioration of the water in and around our race course area has left us with no choice but to cancel our race in the interest of safety for our volunteers, the racers, and all the support personnel that it takes to conduct the Celina Governors Cup Regatta” says Baskett.

“Our committee has been working all year in preparation for this year’s event” says Buxton. “The racers and crews want to race, and our sponsors are supporting our efforts. It’s a shame that circumstances beyond of the control of our committee and their efforts have put us in the position of having to cancel this year’s event”.

Welcome to our new web site!
April 6, 2010

Welcome to our new web site!

Over 100 hours of effort went into building this site. The biggest change is behind the scenes, as a Content Management System (CMS) was implemented to make it easier to maintain and grow the site and hopefully last for a good number of years.

TO OUR TEAMS: Please contact us for submission information for our teams page ASAP!!

We are looking for some club members that would like to help work on the site through the CMS. We need some people to work on the Teams pages as well as a History page.

We are also looking for help by a graphic artist type, to help improve the looks of the page. Yours truly is more a techie than an artist, and I think it came out OK but I'd like it to be better.
